EIDBI services offer medically necessary services and supports to people under the age of 21 with autism spectrum disorder (ASD) or related conditions. Treatment is based on proven methods, and the values, culture and preferences of the person and family.
Early Intensive Developmental and Behavioral Intervention: Skilled Behavior
Our skilled behavior therapists deliver one-on-one intensive interventions in the areas of behavioral challenges and self-regulation, cognition, functional communication, learning and play, safety, self-care, and social or interpersonal interaction to promote optimal independence and participation in family, school and community life. Along with ABA therapy, children can receive speech and occupational therapy if medically necessary.

- Difficulty adapting to life changes
- Difficulty with transition back home after out-of-home placement
- Difficult behaviors that put children at risk of out-of-home placement
- Fearfulness or anxiety
- Temper tantrums
- Inability to focus
- Combative or aggressive behavior that interrupts home, school, or community participation
